Dichroic means two colors, and this glass appears to be different
colors when viewed from different angles or in varying degrees of illumination.
Dichroic glass is created by adding a thin layer of metallic oxides which transmit
certain light wavelengths while reflecting others, causing an iridescent effect.
Each piece that I make is unique and different. I love the art of fusing glass,
so much that my heart and soul goes into every piece that I make.
It can take me a day or two to make a piece because of the process of designing
and fusing. Because of the makeup of Dichroic, every time I open my kiln I am amazed.
Not to mention that it is all I can do not to sneak a peek.
